UVB Treatment
UVB light source is indicated for the treatment of psoriasis. It is the treatment of choice for extensive and stubborn psoriasis.
Sun exposure and Dead Sea treatment was noticed to improve psoriasis for years. This then instigated the development of UVA treatments. UVB treatments are the newest UV treatment on the market but one of the most effective. It is safer and quicker than direct UVA and in most cases even with a short duration of exposure the results are better. 20 – 30 treatments 3 times a week and then maintenance will be required.
